Joe Platt lives in the northern tip of the Ozark foothills
           outside the little town of House Springs, Missouri.  

                     "I live in a valley surrounded by  woods,  
                         with a good dog, a tough cat, and
                    a  woodstove  for the winter." Joe says.    

       "Picture a cold night, a warm fire, and a dog laying 
                  by your side.   Me?  I'm writing music."
